Lensbaby dream

I like the Lensbaby Composer because it is perfect to create soft effects. In this case I used it to play with the lines and shapes of this scene. The lines on the ground drive the view to the bench where a woman is sitting and the composition is completed by the palm tree on the left. The use of the Lensbaby combined with the sepia tone helps tu create a kind of dreaming atmosphere. I love it. Location: Lazise, Garda Lake, Italy.

Mi piace giocare con la Lensbaby perchè permette di creare un effetto morbido che si addice ad alcune situazioni. In questo caso ho sfruttato le linee del terreno che inducono l’osservatore a guardare la panchina dove una ragazza è seduta. La composizione è completata dalla palama sulla sinistra. Il tutto combinato con l’effetto di movimento della Lensbaby e del tono in sepia permette di ricreare un atmosfera simile ad un allucinazione o un sogno. Luogo: Lazise, Lago di Garda, Italia.

This is one of the ads that iStock used last year to promote itself in the major design magazines in USA and UK. I am really proud to say that half part of this ad is coming from my portfolio! The “San Francisco Downtown District” is an image I took in San Francisco during spring 2009. This is the second iStock Ad with one of my pics! The Sahara Desert Sand Dunes is an image I took in Morocco in the Erg Chebbi Desert (Western Sahara) during autumn 2008. The great thing is that I discovered today that there is a second ad with one of my picture. I will publish it in the next days! Weissensee Berlin

this is the Weissensee located few minutes away from Central Berlin, it is easy to reach. at Alexanderplatz jump on the M2 train and jump off at Weissensee platform. the lake is totally frozen and people use to walk over the ice, iceskate and have fun. the three images have been taken with the Lensbaby Composer f5.6 during a very strong snowfall.

questo è il Weissensee situato a pochi minuti dal centro di Berlino. è molto facile da raggiungere, con il tram M2 da Alexanderplatz si arriva direttamente alla fermata Weissensee. il lago è attualmente completamente ghiacciato e la gente ha l’abitudine di camminare, pattinare e divertirsi sulla superficie ghiacciata. queste tre immagini sono state scattate utilizzando un Lensbabz COmposer f5.6 durante una fitta nevicata.

the berlin main train station is a fantastic place where to take interesting images. the architecture of the place permitts to see all the five floors of the building. standing at the bottom of the train station is it possible to see the top level where people wait to take the S-Bahn, the city train. it is also possible to do the opposite. in this image I was walking upstairs from the 4th to 5th floor and this was the view. the underground floor with the orange lights, the second floor with some tourist walking around illuminated with the natural light coming from outside and the third floor where two girls are going to take the esclator.

la stazione centrale di berlino è davvero un luogo fantastico dove realizzare fotografie interessanti. l’architettura del luogo permette di vedere in qualunque punto ci si trovi tutti e cinque i piani dell’edificio. dal piano seminterrato si vede il quinto piano dove passa il treno cittadino S-Bahn. si può fare anche l’esatto contrario, come in questa foto realizzata salendo dal quarto verso il quinto piano: si può vedere il seminterrato illuminato dalle tipiche luci color arancione, il secondo piano con la luce naturale che entra dalle vetrate e il terzo piano con la gente in movimento che si appresta ad usare la scala mobile.
